Robert Minch, D.D.S. Dr. Rob Minch has been treating patients for over 25 years from all over the Baltimore area including: Lutherville, Timonium, Towson and Pikesville, just to name a few. He has studied with many of the country’s most respected clinicians in a continuing effort to create beautiful smiles in harmony with an extremely comfortable bite.
Dr. Minch assumed his dental practice in 1985, an already thriving family dentistry office. Since then, he has maintained a full-time private practice that has evolved into one of the finest advanced restorative and complete dentistry practices in Maryland. In his quest to provide the best treatment possible, he has pursued thousands of hours of continuing education, attending courses given at the most prestigious institutes, including The Pankey Institute, Eubank Teaching Institute and the Spear Institute.
Grateful for all the opportunities and knowledgeable mentors who have influenced him and helped him reach the level of excellence he now enjoys, Dr. Minch believes strongly in giving back to the community. One way in which he does this is by participating with the AACD Give Back a Smile program where he volunteers to treat victims of domestic abuse to restore beautiful smiles. Additionally, he has been on staff at Johns Hopkins Hospital, GBMC and has had continuing staff privileges for over 20 years at Sinai Hospital.
Giving back for Dr. Minch has increasingly taken the form of teaching the concepts of Complete Dentistry to dental students at the University of Maryland Dental School several times each month.
His most recent accomplishment was being appointed a Visiting Faculty Member at the Spear Institute at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry – one of only 75 dentists in the country to be awarded this honor. Some of the finest dentists in the country come to the Spear Institute to hone their skills in a never-ending quest to achieve the finest dentistry possible. Dr. Minch is especially proud to be associated with such a prestigious learning facility.
Dr. Minch lives near his office in Baltimore with his two sons, Teddy and Joey, and two Golden Retrievers, TJ and Charlie. He enjoys many extracurricular interests including music (playing guitar, drums and piano), photography, gardening, cooking, travel and woodworking, as well as biking, swimming and yoga.
